Bixolon kiosk printers are an ideal thermal printing solution in retail, hospitality, healthcare, and, more generally, in all customer self-service use cases. The Bixolon BK3 series kiosk printers are designed to make it as easy as possible on both the user and the operator.
The BK3 series printers are capable of printing at speeds of up to 250mm per second, in the resolution of 203dpi, on media from 83 to 20mm wide, depending on model and configuration. They are compact and lightweight, taking up a minimum of precious space. They have been tested for operating temperatures of up to 60 °C and conditions of high environmental humidity. Depending on the version, they can be installed in multiple positions and configurations.
They come with drivers and SDKs for all the most frequently encountered operating systems. They support multiple fonts and printing in different languages, with support for user-installed fonts, graphics, and logos. Multiple frequent bar code formats are also supported.
The BK3 series’ design is user-centred. The power switch and the reset button have been installed on both sides, making it easy to install in a variety of workspace configurations. Other than that, a variety of paper-saving design solutions have been built into the Bixolon BK3 series, resulting in up to 25% of paper saved, making them less wasteful and more environmentally friendly.
